Smallholding Books

If you are an experienced smallholder or someone who is thinking of becoming one, you are sure to learn something from our fantastic range of smallholding books. Small scale, organic farming is becoming increasingly popular and no matter how small your space, there is something for everyone!

Subjects within the smallholding books section include bee keeping and honey making, free range poultry and guides to stock fencing requirements. Maybe you would like to keep a few chickens in your garden, or perhaps you want to expand your smallholding to include other livestock, our smallholding books have all the answers and advice you need.

The definition of a smallholding can encompass a range of different farming operations from the hobby farmer with an allotment to someone with several acres and quite a few animals / crops. Because of this, in our smallholding books section we have included a number of books that seem more relevant to the large scale farmer, but contain information that will also benefit the smallholder.
